Charlotte Mecklenburg Youth & Family Services invites you to open your heart and home to children who are looking for a family by attending our first annual Heart Gallery on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the Mecklenburg County Government Center. The Heart Gallery is a unique opportunity to recruit adoptive families for children in foster care and area group homes. Stafford.Tisdale's principal and inhouse photographer David Tisdale donated time for the photoshoots of two children in need of adoptive families. The Heart Gallery is designed to win hearts and homes. To achieve that goal, Charlotte's top photographers volunteer their time and talent to create intimate, compelling portraits of children in Charlotte Mecklenburg area. The children featured are typically considered the "hardest to place" — those who are at least 3 years old, minorities, and/or in sibling groups, and are now available for adoption anywhere in the country. The exhibit will stay at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center for 4 weeks.
