Lindsey Ryan Horne

Lindsey Ryan Horne is easing into the final stages of her second studio album with producer Randolph Lewis. This new collection doesn’t stray too far from the style of her songs before. The sparse, southern, and lonesome sound serves as a dreamlike landscape for the pure and dulcet quality of Lindsey's voice. The sometimes sensual and daring imagery of these piano-driven laments is supported by a band that’s barely there, but that arrives in all the right places: David Kim on drums, Dustin Hofsess on upright bass, and Matt and Justin Faircloth all add their magic. Lindsey was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was raised by musicians in a house full of songs. She studied music in Dallas, Texas, wandered off the study poetry in New York, and has made her way back to her beloved home-state. She’s looking forward to the release of the new album this spring, 2011.
